We have also experienced the joy of new beginnings in that my husband has been working toward a new career path that has taken us in an unexpected direction but one that we could not have even hoped for. We feel blessed by the hope of new opportunities. We also are learning to strive to lay our plans down at the Lord’s feet in this process. It is not an easy task, but it I have learned one thing this year it is that God will supply our needs even though we may not have the same idea of how that might look. The verse that I think of the most for the year is Ephesians 3:20 that says:
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.
Another new beginning this year is my blog! I started Joyful Thrifty Home this past Spring. I have been blessed beyond my imagination with friendship and connections that I never would have made otherwise. I also found that I love blogging and the many facets that go along with it. I am excited about what 2014 will bring for Joyful Thrifty Home!
