Most of us believe that it is a good idea to read the bible and pray everyday but sometimes it is hard to know exactly how to go about this. So I’ve done some searching for online resources to help you with studying your bible and devotionals to enrich your spiritual life. The best part is that they are all free!!
Good Morning Girls has an online study during different periods of the year. You join a group and use it to discuss the study and keep each other accountable. The study materials are available as free downloads and you can also download the past studies from the website if you want it as another resource.
Praise and Coffee is a website and free online magazine for women and has groups that meet all over the country. They have a curriculum you can use as well as other resources to start your own group. There’s also an online study called Becoming Me Through Him starting October 7th through the Praise and Coffee Facebook page.
(in)Courage has sessions of community groups for women. The current session just started but another session is starting in January. This is a great way to meet other Christian women with similar interests and stage in life.
Time Warp Wife has 3 free downloadable bible studies on Ruth, Esther and Philippians.
More to Be has lots of free downloads on a variety of topics on their free download page.
Outside the Zone is a free bible study download by Rachel Wojnarowski about getting out of your comfort zone.
Women Living Well has a free eBook on Proverbs 31 as well as a video series to go along with it.
Back to the Bible has some great resources including a variety of free online devotionals and bible studies.
RBC Ministries has various free devotionals that you can get from their website. They are also available in other media forms as well. The devotionals offered include My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers, Our Daily Bread, Our Daily Journey and Daily Strength by Joe Stowell.
YouVersion is not just a bible website. It also has lots of reading plans and devotionals too! You can even download it as an app for your smart phone, tablet or computer. My church uses it to broadcast their notes during the service so as long as I can get online and access it I can use the app to see the notes paralleled with the text from the bible.
Once you go through the sites listed above you will find that there are many more than just eleven resources here. You Version alone has over 500 studies to choose from!! Spend a little time browsing these websites and I’m sure you’ll find something useful. If you do let me know! I’d love to hear which plans or devotionals you have used and enjoy.
